Our Attitude
Our work shows how painting, illustration, and digital media open up new narrative spaces. We accompany artists who work with pastel tones and reduced forms.
“Art is the language of quiet tones for me.” – Elisa Rieger
From interior design to fashion: We show how thoughtful design enriches everyday life. Our focus is on sustainable materials and clean lines.
“Beauty arises when function and form meet.” – Amelie Schütz
Whether print or digital – we rely on typography, white space, and visual hierarchy. Every layout tells its own story.
“A good layout guides the eye without being intrusive.” – Marlene Gassner
We observe how color palettes and formal languages change. Pastel colors, organic grids, and soft contrasts characterize our current work.
“Trends are signposts, not rules.” – Mr. Marcel Mayr B.Eng.
From the first idea to an established platform – every step was a conscious decision for quality and artistic ambition.
Four designers and one shared vision: to create a place where art and lifestyle can be discussed beyond mainstream trends. We spent the first months in a small studio in Vienna, working on mood boards and developing the visual concept that still holds true today.
With a pop-up gallery in the 7th district, we showcased works by ten local artists. At the same time, the first version of our website went online – a simple editorial design combining pastel colors with clear typography. The response exceeded all expectations: over 800 visitors in three days.
The pandemic forced us to rethink. Instead of physical events, we focused on digital magazines and online workshops. The blog grew to 15 authors, and we published the first issue of our e-magazine "Palette" – a 60-page PDF on color theory, layout, and lifestyle.
After a year of development, we went live with a completely redesigned website. New grid, improved readability, stronger integration of image and text. Visitor numbers increased by 140 percent, and we won two design awards for editorial excellence.
Today, Madame Artsy reaches over 45,000 readers monthly in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. We collaborate with five art universities, regularly host online salons, and have launched our own podcast. The editorial team consists of permanent and freelance authors, all united by a love for thoughtful aesthetics.
